A visit to the Freyburg Maine Fair. Largest agricultural fair in Maine, and the second largest in New England. 185 acres of fairgrounds over 3,500 animals from the littlest rabbit to the biggest oxen and draft horses. Pig scrambles, bad-for-you food  and stomach tilting carnival rides attract over 225,000 visitors each year. Overwhelms the senses.
